Shawn Michaels is having a blast down in WWE NXT and to him, it’s reflective to the most popular time in the world of pro wrestling.
The head of NXT spoke with the media on September 28 ahead of NXT No Mercy and talked about how happy he has been with the evolution and the development of the brand in recent months.
Michaels even went as far to say that in today’s modern landscape of pro wrestling, NXT is the most comparable to that of the Attitude Era.

Michaels added how much fun he is having being the creative head of WWE NXT and made the confident claim that it’s the best wrestling product on television right now.
No matter what past criticisms have been of the NXT product considering the brand has overgone some drastic changes over the years, they have loaded up on star power. Main roster names such as The Judgment Day and Seth Rollins have popped by for a few cameos, but even major stars have been making The Capitol Wrestling Center a regular residence.
Becky Lynch is the current NXT Women’s Champion as she defeated Tiffany Stratton for the gold and Dominik Mysterio is establishing himself as the heelish holder of the North American Title. Both stars will be competing this weekend at NXT No Mercy as Mysterio will face Dragon Lee while Lynch will go up against Stratton once again but this time in an Extreme Rules match.
With CM Punk now back in WWE, Shawn Michaels has been the latest to give his thoughts on the matter.
