A former WWE Superstar has revealed that they pitched bringing back the infamous Corporate Ministry group before they were released by the company.
The Corporate Ministry was formed during the vaunted Attitude Era in WWE when Shane McMahon took his Corporation and merged it with The Undertaker’s Ministry of Darkness in an unholy alliance to take control of the company.
The group claimed to be doing the bidding of a so-called “higher power” which of course turned out to be Vince McMahon.
Now speaking to Steve Fall at NBC Sports Boston, former NXT Champion Karrion Kross has revealed that before he was released by WWE in 2021, he had pitched to bring the group back:
“I had ideas about bringing back The Corporate Ministry. That was one of my final ideas that I had. I had a series of writers on board for that who thought it was a very good idea. I thought pitching those ideas would be cool because there’s some nostalgia to it.”
“You know, with all these crazy conspiracy theories that are always going around about esoteric businesses and stuff like that, and cults, and evil companies and stuff like that, I thought there would be a tasteful way to fictionalize that type of stuff and put it back on TV with a nostalgic twist.”
