Sean Waltman Turned Down The Red Hot Chili Peppers For Uncle Kracker

Sean Waltman X Pac

Former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman (AKA X-Pac) has revealed the entrance music choice that Shane McMahon once gave him.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Sean Waltman took a deep dive into his career, offering insights on various subjects.

Over the course of nearly an hour, he touched on everything from the chances of a return at the 2024 Royal Rumble, to his early-career victory over Razor Ramon on Raw, and his musings on the famous Monday Night War.

Yet, among the various topics discussed, one that might surprise fans was his choice of entrance music during his time in WWF/E.

“Shane McMahon comes up to me, and they’re trying. They’re trying with me. He goes, ‘Hey, we’re thinking about having Red Hot Chili Peppers do your new theme music.’ I go, ‘No, I want Uncle Kracker.'”

“I was the one that picked Uncle Kracker because we knew him, and that’s just kind of how I was at the time,”

Though it wasn’t revealed which Red Hot Chili Peppers song was put forward for his entrance, Sean Waltman eventually ended up with “What You Lookin’ At” by Uncle Kracker.

The Uncle Kracker theme served X-Pac well during the early 2000s, eventually becoming the theme for his short-lived “X-Factor” stable with Justin Credible and Albert.

Where Is Sean Waltman Now?

Sean Waltman is currently enjoying semi-retirement from professional wrestling. His last in-ring wrestling performances were with Game Changer Wrestling in 2022.

In February 2022, Waltman teamed with Joey Janella to defeat Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers. He then faced Janella one-on-one the following month in a nineteen-minute losing effort.
