Undertaker Bids Emotional Final Farewell

Undertaker Farewell

After 30 years in WWE, the legendary Undertaker bid his ‘Final Farewell’ at Survivor Series, saying it was time for him to finally rest in peace.

Flanked by appearances from WWE Hall of Famers Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Rikishi, Kevin Nash, The Godfather, and Booker T as well as Shane McMahon, Jeff Hardy, Kane, Phineas and Henry Godwinn, Tim White, and Savio Vega, a video package celebrating The Deadman aired. When it ended, Undertaker chants rang through the building and the only person in the ring was Vince McMahon.

WWE’s CEO would give an incredibly heartfelt and heartwarming introduction to The Deadman, as Taker made his way to the ring for the first time in the ThunderDome and seemingly the final time ever.

Undertaker made his way to the ring amidst lighting, flames, and submerged in darkness, before pacing around the ring. The Deadman would say a few words, confirming that it was finally time for him to rest in peace. We’d hear Paul Bearer cackle before the legendary, late manager would appear via hologram as Taker took his final bow.

“For thirty long years, I’ve made that long walk to the ring. I’ve made that long walk to the ring and have laid people to rest, time and time again. Now my time has come, to let The Undertaker Rest in Peace.”

The Deadman’s final match will go down in history as the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36, where Undertaker was victorious over AJ Styles.
