Paul Wight, formerly WWE legend The Big Show, is set to make his AEW debut on the March 3rd edition of Dynamite after it was recently revealed he’d signed with the company!

The announcement was made during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite when details surrounding AEW Dark: Elevation were unveiled. Tony Schiavone would reveal that AEW’s newest show will debut on March 15th, featuring himself and Wight on commentary, and that Wight will appear on the March 3rd Dynamite – the final edition of AEW’s flagship show before Revolution!

This marks Wight’s first televised appearance for a wrestling promotion outside of WWE in over two decades, his last coming from his final WCW appearance on January 11th 1999 where he lost to Kevin Nash on Monday Nitro. Wight made his final appearance for WWE last month at RAW Legends Night, being berated by Randy Orton before failing to come to terms with a new deal with the company behind the scenes.

The March 3rd Dynamite will also feature the in-ring debut of Shaquille O’Neil as he and Jade Cargill take on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. Just last month, Wight said he still had hopes of facing off against Shaq at WrestleMania and though he may not get a chance to face him on the Showcase of the Immortals, the two could well clash in an AEW ring down the line!
