Edge Opens The Show, Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn Interrupt

  • Edge says that Roman not defending his title inside Elimination Chamber is a smart move but the selection of his WrestleMania opponent at Elimination Chamber is bigger because it’s the most important decision he’ll ever make in his career and he has 13 potential opponents. Roman Reigns interrupts.
  • Roman says Edge doesn’t have 13 opponents, he has one. Edge responds that he can’t acknowledge Roman as the main event of WrestleMania because Roman needs him to be the main event of WrestleMania and he sees insecurity in Reigns’ eyes.
  • Edge says he also sees a young man in his prime in Reigns but he’s cracking under the pressure, pressure that Edge hasn’t properly applied yet. Edge asks if Roman really wants him to put on the pressure before Sami Zayn interrupts.
  • Sami says he’s been disrespected by two of the biggest stars to ever grace the industry. Zayn says they’re not looking at the threat right in front of them, him! Zayn says he’s the Ultimate Strategist and the Champion of the People which should worry both Edge & Roman.
  • Sami continues on his rant before Jey Uso hits him with a Superkick. Roman and Edge look like they’re about to square off but Reigns whispers something in Edge’s ear before walking away.

Apollo Crews vs Shinsuke Nakamura

  • Before we cut to commercial, Big E makes his entrance to join commentary. We see a recap of Big E vs Shinsuke Nakamura from last week before Nakamura makes his entrance.

  • Nakamura and Crews get into a collar-and-elbow tie-up early on which Crews gets the better of. Crews hits a missile dropkick on Nakamura to the outside before throwing Nakamura into Big E at ringside. Big E gets in Crews’ face before we cut to commercial.
  • We cut back to Crews getting a 2-count off a vertical suplex before Shinsuke retaliates with a flying knee strike. Shinsuke hits a series of kicks before hitting a slingshot german suplex for a 2-count of his own.
  • Crews hits a spinebuster for a 2-count before Nakamura transitions into an armbreaker which he turns into a roll-up to pick up the win.
  • Crews attacks Nakamura after the bell, pulling out the ring steps to attack his opponent but Big E stops him and tells him to walk away. When Big E turned him back, however, Crews levelled him with the steps before clotheslining Nakamura over the barricade.
  • Crews throws both the steps and Big E into the ring and looks like he’s about to hit Big E with the steps but Big E rolls out. Crews drops the steps from the ring to Big E’s prone body on the outside and the segment ends as officials tend to the Intercontinental Champion.
  • We see Big E being stretchered out of the arena after a commercial break whilst Seth Rollins makes his entrance. We later see Big E getting put in an ambulance.

  • Reginald tags in but hesitates when he comes face-to-face with Nia. The two get into a collar-and-elbow but Nia just throws Reginald to the canvas. Reginald gets continually floored by Jax, eventually avoiding Nia’s leg drop. Nia tries to tag in Shayna but Sasha and Bianca pull her off the apron.
