Killer Kross says his WWE exit was actually a “blessing in disguise” after admitting that he is “positive” his exit was always on the cards no matter what course he chose.

Speaking with Inside The Ropes’ Lead Writer Gary Cassidy for Issue 18 of Inside The Ropes Magazine, Killer Kross answered our 20 Questions and a few more – before elaborating on his previous comments that he had made.

The former Karrion Kross opened up about how he was possibly “too compliant” with some of the directions he was given, including the now infamous Raw debut which ended a winning streak in disappointing fashion.

However, the former NXT Champion added that he has zero regrets, and that he doesn’t actually think anything he could have done would have changed the long-term outcome.

“I have zero regrets about any decisions that I committed to, and this is just the feeling that I’m telling you and this is something I’ve had since I was a kid, I think everybody has it.

“Sometimes we lose the ability to interpret what that feeling is really telling us versus maybe being afraid of what it’s telling us or what we want it to tell us.

“But I am positive – in such a way where I am not sure how to explain it – that no matter what course I chose, it was going to lead to me no longer being with the company. It’s just a feeling that I have.”

Kross added that it is “unfortunate” but said he thinks it’s actually a blessing in disguise as he plans on “running as far as he can” now that he holds the cards.

“It’s unfortunate, but I also think, respectfully, this was a blessing in disguise. And I, although the last little bit was super unusual, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company and I’m glad people got to see me and I’m going to take the ball now and I’m going to run as far as I can with it.”

During the 20 Questions segment of the interview, Killer Kross opened up about the biggest locker room pranksters in WWE, his most bizarre fan interactions, and the surprising career path he almost took!
