Former WWE Champion and devoted Liverpool fan Sheamus has delivered his prediction for tonight’s Premier League game between current champions Liverpool and high-flying Tottenham.
The Celtic Warrior believes the encounter will provide “one of the games of the season” and an incredibly free-flowing, high scoring clash.
“My prediction for Liverpool-Spurs tonight, it’s going to be Liverpool 3-3 Spurs. You’ve got two of the best attacking lines in the Premier League and probably Europe. Salah, Firmino, Mane, and Jota on fire, and, of course, with Spurs, you’ve got Son, Kane, and Bale coming back into the fold. I think Liverpool’s defence has been hammered with injuries so we’re going to be opened but we’ll be free-flowing and high-scoring.”
Sheamus would go on to say Liverpool will provide Tottenham’s toughest challenge thus far this season defensively, but reiterated that Liverpool will face a similar struggle.
“I think the Liverpool team will be able to open Spurs up better than anybody this season but they are so dangerous as well going forward. With our backline depleted, I think it will be a very exciting game. One of the games of the season tonight and I firmly believe it’s going to be Liverpool 3-3 Spurs.”
The Celtic Warrior, of course, would admit he hopes he’s wrong and Liverpool come away with all three points, saying, “We need to return to the top.”
