Potential Plans For WWE WrestleMania 37 In Tampa [Exclusive]

Raymond James Stadium. IT may host WrestleMania 37

There are tentative plans in place for WrestleMania 37 to emanate from Tampa instead of Inglewood, California, Inside The Ropes understands.

Sources close to the situation tell ITR that WWE have put plans in place for WrestleMania 37 to emanate from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, where WrestleMania 36 had been scheduled to be hosted.

This year’s WrestleMania, of course, ended up taking place over two nights from the Performance Center, with the all-new SoFi Stadium in Inglewood confirmed to host next year’s Show of Shows – titled WrestleMania: Hollywood.

There is no word yet as to whether the date of March 28th, 2021 will remain the same, but we’re told WWE has ‘locked down’ most buildings in Tampa for potential events across WrestleMania Weekend.

Last week, we reported how WWE were also planning to depart from the ThunderDome upon expiration of the current contract, with talents being told to prepare to travel. Triple H discussed this matter in this week’s pre-TakeOver media call.

The Game reiterated that running shows from different cities will most likely not be for a long time, but said moving to one set location could be possible. Triple H added that WWE are constantly looking to see what is available as things open, but that safety is paramount. You can read the notes from that call here.

Officially, WWE is still advertising WrestleMania Hollywood for March 28th.
