The Great Khali is WWE’s biggest star from India, literally and figuratively and it’s only appropriate if he shows up for the company while they are in his home country.
PWInsider is reporting that Khali is set to be at the WWE Superstar Spectacle on Friday, but how Khali is going to be incorporated is currently unknown. Although the event is not being broadcasted on TV or on the WWE Network, there will be cameras on sight as several stars will be putting on a showcase for a very big fanbase.
Back in 2021, WWE put on their first version of the event, specifically tailored for the fans in India, but it was filmed remotely in St. Petersburg, FL due to the global pandemic.
Besides The Great Khali, Who Else Will Be In India?
Fans will not just see The Great Khali at the WWE Superstar Spectacle, but they’ll also get the rare treat of John Cena who will wrestle for the first time in India. He will tag up with Seth Rollins as they will battle Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. Additionally, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were all set to defend their Tag Titles against Indus Sher with Jinder Mahal in their corner.
One major name who will unfortunately not be in attendance for the event is Becky Lynch. Lynch revealed on social media that she’d be unable to attend as she had a slight tear in her passport which prevented her from taking the flight.
