AEW has announced Allysin Kay vs. Serena Deeb for the Full Gear Buy-In. Deeb will defend the NWA Women’s World Title against the former champion.

The newly announced title match replaces the previous Buy In match of Orange Cassidy vs John ‘4’ Silver, which was recently moved up to the pay-per-view main card. Deeb recently defended her title on AEW television against Leyla Hirsch and her match with Kay will mark her second defence since winning the title. Adding to an increasingly stacked card, AEW Full Gear will now feature five title matches.
This marks the first time that Allysin Kay and AEW are working together and undoubtedly comes at an interesting time. Kay recently announced that she is a free agent, so a potential full time stay in AEW is a possibility. No stranger to major wrestling promotions, Kay has also competed for WWE in the second May Young Classic and is a two-time IMPACT Knockouts champion. Kay was also the NWA World Women’s champion until January of this year, losing the title to Thunder Rosa. Rosa has also been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks due to numerous reports of interest from both AEW and WWE.
