AEW Dynamite Results – March 3rd 2021

Keep up with all of tonight’s AEW Dynamite results as the show’s 75th episode emanates from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida with Revolution just a few days away!

The results from this week’s show were as follows:

  • Jade Cargill & Shaq defeated Red Velvet & Cody Rhodes via Pinfall (11:45)
  • Fenix & PAC defeated John Skyler & D3 via Pinfall (1:10)
  • Tully Blanchard & FTR defeated Jurassic Express via Pinfall (11:20)
  • Ryo Mizunami defeated Nyla Rose via Pinfall, winning the Women’s Eliminator Tournament (12:50)
  • Max Caster defeated Dark Order’s 10 via Pinfall, qualifying for the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match (8:55)
  • Hangman Page & John Silver defeated Marq Quen & Matt Hardy via Pinfall (11:00)

Cody Rhodes & Red Velvet vs Shaq & Jade Cargill

  • Cody and Shaq start off with Shaq overpowering his opponent easily with chops and a back body drop before Cargill tags in. Cargill gains control and taunts Velvet several times. Jade slaps Cody, leading him to knock Shaq off the apron.
  • Shaq takes out the Nightmare Family on the outside before Velvet hits a moonsault onto Cargill and Cody before bringing Cargill back into the ring.
  • Cargill locks in the Figure Four on Velvet before releasing the hold and setting up a table on the outside. Cargill rolls back in as Velvet rolls out to set up a second table. She rolls back in a stuns Jade with a spinning enziguri before tagging in Cody.
  • Shaq hits a powerbomb on Cody but Cody retaliates with a slam before tagging in Red Velvet. She and Cargill get into a striking exchange before Cargill hits a spinebuster for a near-fall that’s broken up by Cody.
  • Cody hits a diving crossbody onto Shaq to put him through the two tables on the outside. Meanwhile, in the ring, Velvet hits a Spear on Jade for a 2-count before Jade retaliates with a Glam Slam to pick up the win.
  • Shaq is shown to be incapacitated from the table spot in the aftermath as Jade poses alone in the ring. After a commercial break, we see Shaq getting loaded into an ambulance. Tony tries to interview Shaq in the ambulance but he’s disappeared.

Winners: Jade Cargill & Shaq via Pinfall in 11:45

PAC & Rey Fenix vs John Skyler & D3

  • Fenix takes out D3 on the outside as the bell rings. He and PAC hit a double superkick combination to take down Skyler before following up with a 450 into a Fire and Thunder Driver to pick up a dominant win.

Winners: Fenix & PAC via Pinfall in 1:10

Chris Jericho & MJF Present Their Pre-Revolution Press Conference

  • Dasha Gonzalez introduces the conference and Barstool Sports asks what the AEW World Tag Team Championship means to them. Jericho reminds us he lost the AEW World Championship a year ago and it’s time to have a championship again.
  • Jericho reminds us he’s a seven-time world tag team champion and says none of his former partners are better than MJF. Conrad Thompson asks if Guevara is going to get let back into the Inner Circle. MJF calls him ‘turkey t*ts’ and ejects him from the arena.
  • Another Barstool Sports representative asks why they attack Papa Buck last week. MJF says what they did to him is nothing compared what they’ll do to The Young Bucks at Revolution. Santana says there isn’t a line the Inner Circle won’t cross.
  • Eric Bischoff asks about Papa Buck’s condition and calls out Jericho attacking Papa Buck as a stupid idea that’ll fire up The Young Bucks with a vengeance. Jericho starts to reply before The Young Bucks interrupt.
  • Nick says they knew they would try to hurt them but they didn’t know they’d make it this personal by attacking their dad. They recount how they taught them everything they needed to know to be the men they are today which apparently MJF and Jericho’s father failed to do.
  • Matt recalls how their dad taught them to do it themselves and how it helped create them as a team, Being The Elite and AEW itself. Matt says without AEW, MJF would be living with his parents and Jericho would be ‘jerking the curtain tonight at the Performance Center’.
  • Matt says he also told them to stand up for themselves before superkicking MJF & Jericho before brawling with the rest of the Inner Circle. Brandon Cutler joins the brawl as a plethora of referees to break it up.
  • The Good Brothers set up a table on the ramp and ringside area before Nick climbs on top of one of the entrance ways. The Bucks deliver stereo dives through the tables to end the segment.

Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch Video Package, FTR & Tully Blanchard vs Jurassic Express

  • We see a video package building up the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch featuring JR, Schiavone and Atsushi Onita, the innovator of the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch stipulation before Tully & FTR make their entrance. Tully has his old robe and is accompanied by JJ Dillion.
  • Tully and Marko start off, with Tully immediately beating Marko in the corner before tagging in Dax. Marko tags in Jungle Boy and the two relive their back-and-forth match from a few weeks ago. Jungle Boy eventually creates an opening with a dropkick, locking in the Snare Trap but Cash breaks it up.
  • Jungle Boy locks it in on Cash on the outside and Cash taps out on the outside. Meanwhile, JJ hands Dax his show and he hits Jungle Boy with it whilst Tully distracts the ref for a very close near-fall. Tully teases a Tope Suicida but he taunts instead.
  • Dax brings Jungle Boy to the outside, peels back the ringside back and slams Jungle Boy onto the exposed area. Cash tags in and maintains control over Jungle Boy with some stiff strikes. All three men tag in and out and keep Jungle Boy down in their corner, isolated from his partners.
  • Jungle Boy eventually creates an opening with a back suplex on Dax but Cash tags in and attempts a corner splash but Jungle Boy gets his feet up. He tags out to Luchasaurus who clears house, taking down Tully by throwing Marko Stunt into him. He hits a double german suplex on FTR for a near-fall.
  • Tully hits a slingshot suplex on Marko before Luchasaurus hits the Tail Whip on Tully. Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus hit the Therassic Express on Dax for a near-fall. Jungle Boy inadvertently hits a camera man with a tope suicida, who retaliates by hitting Jungle Boy with his camera.
  • Tully hits the super assisted piledriver on Luchasaurus to pick up the win. The masked man reveals himself to be Shawn Spears.

Winners: Tully Blanchard & FTR via Pinfall in 11:20

Paul Wight Has A Big Scoop

  • Tony introduces Paul who makes a gag about this being yet another turn. Paul reminds us he and Tony will be commentating AEW Dark: Elevation and says he has a big scoop. A “Hall of Fame-worthy talent” who will be a huge asset to AEW and isn’t who you expect will be signed at Revolution!

Nyla Rose vs Ryo Mizunami – Women’s Eliminator Tournament Finals

  • The two get into a striking exchange which Rose gets the better of by shoulder tackling Mizunami. Rose hits a big boot on Mizunami followed up by a rolling senton for a near-fall. Rose chokes Mizunami on the bottom rope as we go to picture-and-picture.
  • Nyla throws Mizunami into the ringside barricades on the outside before staring down Hikaru Shida who’s sitting next to the tournament trophy. Rose brings Mizunami back into the ring and continues to dominate with a standing slam counter for a 1-count.
  • Rose tries for a top rope senton but Mizunami dodges before spearing Rose to the outside. Rose climbs onto the apron but Mizunami chop blocks her before following up with a middle rope leg drop onto the apron and Nyla barely gets back in for the 10-count. Ryo hits a second for a near-fall.
  • Nyla hits a lariat to regain control before following up with a Death Valley Driver for a near-fall again. Nyla hits the top rope hanging knee drop onto Mizunami but she only gets a two. Mizunami fights out of the Beast Bomb before hitting an exploded suplex.
  • Mizunami heads to the top and Nyla follows, hitting a superplex to bring her opponent back down. Mizunami kicks out again and hits a german suplex followed up by a spear. Mizunami hits the Gullotine Leg Drop to pick up the win!
  • Shida hands Mizunami the trophy and the two exchange STIFF strikes before staring down to end the segment.

Winner: Ryo Mizunami via Pinfall, winning the Women’s Eliminator Tournament in 12:50

Tony Schiavone interviews Sting ahead of his Revolution Street Fight

  • Schiavone introduces Sting with his Sting catchphrase who has his usual grand entrance. Sting starts discussing the match before Ricky Starks interrupts. Ricky says he say fire in Sting last week but says he’s no Icon before slapping Sting.
  • The two get into a brawl with Sting hitting a clothesline followed up by a Stinger Splash. Sting locks in the Scorpion Deathlock but Powerhouse Hobbs breaks it up. Brian Cage comes out and looks to hit a powerbomb on Sting before Darby makes the save.
  • Sting hits a Stinger Splash on Cage before Darby follows up with a missile dropkick. Team Taz staredown with Sting and Darby before we cut to commercial.

Dark Order’s ’10’ vs Max Caster – Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match Qualifier

  • Scorpio Sky joins commentary during 10’s entrance. Caster taunts -1 during his entrance and 10 holds him back from attacking him.
  • The two go back and forth with 10 getting an early 2-count from a crossbody. 10 hits ten punches in the corner before knocking Caster to the outside. Caster throws 10 into the ringpost to gain control, getting a near-fall after throwing him back into the ring.
  • Caster works over 10’s arm and taunts the crowd but 10 eventually hits a cutter to regain control. Caster hits a brainbuster before going for the Acclaim To Fame diving elbow drop, but 10 dodges and hits a powerbomb. Caster breaks up the ensuing pinfall for a near-fall. Jack Evans hits 10 with a boombox, allowing Caster to pin 10 and qualify.
  • We see Matt Hardy paying off Evans to ensure 10 lost

Winner: Max Caster via Pinfall, qualifying for the Face Of The Revolution Ladder Match in 8:55

Matt Hardy & Marq Quen vs Hangman Page & John Silver

  • Silver and Quen with a back-and-forth exchange before Matt tags in. Hangman tags in and tries to get a piece of Hardy early but Hardy tags out to Quen again. Hangman and Silver dominate over Quen, hitting a double back body drop turning Quen inside out in mid-air.
  • Quen eventually creates an opening and takes down Silver, beating him down in his corner and tagging in and out from Matt to keep him isolated from Page. Hardy tries for a middle rope dive but Silver counters with a gut kick. Page tags in and lays out Quen with a spinebuster before attempting a big boot on Matt, who dodges. Quen inadvertently hits Hardy in the corner before Page hits a fallaway slam into a dive onto Hardy.
  • He attempts to bring Hardy into the ring but Quen stuns him with some stomps. Page counters into a death valley driver but Quen knocks down Page with a dropkick to his knee. Hardy hits a neckbreaker and sets up for the Twist of Fate but Page counters into a back suplex.
  • Silver tags in and spears Hardy but Hardy takes Silver down before tagging in Quen. Quen hits a shotgun dropkick from the top. Page and Silver hit several combination moves, ending with a german suplex into the Buckshot Lariat, which wins them the match.
  • Hardy attacks Page after the match, hitting Page with a microphone. Dark Order rush the ring and beat down Hardy but everyone from the Casino Battle Royale rushes the ring and a huge brawl breaks out. Death Triangle join the frey to close the show.
