Nick Khan has sent a message of thanks to WWE staff after the company officially merged with UFC.
Endeavor’s takeover of WWE has been officially confirmed, and the sports entertainment giant has been merged with UFC under the name TKO Group Holdings. The announcement is the conclusion of a deal that was first acknowledged the day after WrestleMania 39.
Following public confirmation of the deal, Nick Khan sent a message to WWE staff which has since been shared by Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.
“This morning, we announced that WWE and the UFC have officially come together to form TKO Group Holdings, creating a new premium sports and entertainment company. TKO will begin trading today on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “TKO.”
A big thank you to all of you for the hard work and commitment that helped us achieve this milestone.
As we now begin this transition, we will be in touch with more details. In the interim, we will be communicating with each of you regarding new policies and procedures. HR will also be available to answer any and all questions you may have.
We know when companies undergo change it can feel like uncertain times. The special culture that VVVVE has cultivated over its long history is what has allowed our business to flourish and we will be preserving that as VVVVE and UFC both continue to grow together as part of TKO.

WWE No Longer Under Control Of McMahon Family
The deal marks the first time in history that the company famously known as WWE has not been under the control of the McMahon family. The Capitol Wrestling Corporation was founded in 1953, either by Jesse McMahon or his son, Vincent J. McMahon. Either way, it was the latter who oversaw the growth of the promotion into the WWF.
The WWF was eventually sold to Vincent K. McMahon in 1982 and until September 12th, 2023, had been run by the controversial figure.
