Major AEW Star Returns To In-Ring Action

Adam Hangman Page & CM Punk in AEW

One major AEW star has returned to the ring as the promotion gears up for their latest pay-per-view Double or Nothing.

In the lead-up to the Las Vegas event fans have seen all of the promotion’s “Four Pillars” Jungle Boy Jack Perry, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara and MJF butt heads over the World Championship.

After weeks of scathing promos, secret deals, fake friendships and a tag team match they will clash in a four-way title bout in the main event of the PPV.

The other big storyline heading toward the show is the Blackpool Combat Club against The Elite. The Bryan Danielson-led club has targeted the Young Bucks and specifically Kenny Omega in recent weeks in several screwdriver-assisted attacks.

Despite fighting back against the BCC the Elite have found themselves outnumbered and therefore overpowered. On May 10th, Omega found himself lying alone after his longtime manager, Don Callis turned on him costing him the match against Jon Moxley.

However, Omega and the Bucks may have just might have the person they need to fight by their side as Adam Hangman Page recently returned to the ring.

On May 13th Page returned to the ring to face Big Bill in a No Disqualification match at the AEW House Rules live event at the Civic Centre in Salem, Virginia.

It was the first time fans have seen the former World Champion since he was taken out by the BCC some weeks back.

AEW’s Adam Hangman Page Has A Bloody History With The Blackpool Combat Club

Hangman Page has a long and storied past with the Blackpool Combat Club. Page and Moxley entered a vicious and bloody feud when Moxley hit him with a heavy lariat that gave Page a concussion resulting in a lengthy recovery.

Following his return they continued to fight and had a big blow-off match at Revolution in a brutal Texas Death Match that saw Page finally beat Moxley one-on-one.

However, Page’s problems continued as Moxley’s crew chased him out of the promotion once again after a horrific attack with a screwdriver.

Now on the verge of the big return to Dynamite, it seems very likely that Page will have Moxley, Danielson and the rest of the BCC on his radar.
