WWE SummerSlam Is Shaping Up In The Motor City

Asuka vs. Belair vs. Flair is the fourth match to be set for SummerSlam as the PLE is just weeks away. So far on the card is Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar in their anticipated rubber match, Seth Rollins will once again defend his WWE World Heavyweight Title against Finn Balor and Ronda Rousey will battle her former friend Shayna Bazsler in a grudge match after The Queen of Spades backstabbed The Baddest Woman On The Planet.

Some other matches that have yet to be confirmed but are expected to go down is Roman Reigns defending his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodrigeuz, Gunther putting his Intercontinental Title on the line against Drew McIntyre, a United States title defense by Austin Theory and Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will likely set the table for a few bouts as Reigns returns to confront Jey while there will also be a fatal four way invitational to see who will face Santos Escobar to earn a shot at Austin Theory’s United States gold.
