Let’s have a look at the matches, how they came about and predict what we think goes down at the must-see event.

Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nikki Cross vs. Liv Morgan vs. Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Natalya – Elimination Chamber match for Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 39

Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nikki Cross vs. Liv Morgan vs. Asuka vs. Carmella vs. Natalya - Elimination Chamber match for a WWE Raw Women's Championship match at WrestleMania 39

Bianca Belair finds out who her WrestleMania opponent is going to be when one of the six women emerges from the Elimination Chamber as the victor. WWE official Adam Pearce announced the match and the first four participants on the post-Royal Rumble Raw.

The first four announced were Asuka, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Cross. Natalya and the returning Carmella both qualified for the number one contender’s chamber in matches on Raw and SmackDown.

Prediction: There are really only three potential winners here. Rodriguez due to her power and strength could pick up a shock win, however, her main roster run is yet to establish her as a credible challenger. Morgan is another contender, but she hasn’t quite recovered from last year’s title run. This leaves Asuka as your one true winner and very possibly the next Raw Women’s Champion.

Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Bálor & Rhea Ripley

WWE Elimination Chamber Edge & Beth Phoenix vs. Finn Bálor & Rhea Ripley

This match has been cooking for months. The faction Edge created has been a thorn in his side ever since the members ousted him from the group in brutal fashion. In an “I Quit” match at Extreme Rules Balor forced the Rated R Superstar to quit the bout when Rhea Ripley smashed his wife, Beth Phoenix with a con-chair-to.

The Hall of Famer got her revenge on Ripley at Royal Rumble with a big spear. She then targeted ex-con Dominick and dropped him with the Glam Slam leading to this intense mixed match-up.

Prediction: In a match like this the legends usually go over. However, Ripley is on the run of her career and it would be unwise to slow her momentum with a loss. Expect to see Judgement Day pick up the win and put this lengthy feud to bed.

Austin Theory (c) vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed vs. Damian Priest vs. Montez Ford – Elimination Chamber match for the WWE United States Championship

Austin Theory (c) vs. Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Bronson Reed vs. Damian Priest vs. Montez Ford - Elimination Chamber match for the WWE United States Championship

On the post-Royal Rumble edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE announced the United States Championship will be on the line inside the Elimination Chamber. The participants had to compete in qualifying matches to earn their place inside the structure and a shot at the US title.

With the competitors confirmed Austin Theory certainly has his work cut out for him. Rollins is one of the best in the business, Priest is a scary opponent while Reed, Gargano and Ford are all hungry and looking for their first main roster singles title.

Prediction: Theory has been a good US champ and helped make it feel important on Raw and despite the mountainous challenge, the youngster will remain with the title.

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley at WWE Elimination Chamber

For the third time in history, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar clash in singles action. After sharing victories over one another last year the two behemoths found themselves on a collision course again.

The Beast attacked Lashley costing him the US title against Seth Rollins. In return, Lashley eliminated his foe from the Royal Rumble causing Lesnar to go wild at ringside. Lesnar then called out the Almighty setting the battlefield for Elimination Chamber.

Prediction: A tough one to pick as both powerhouses have the arsenal to defeat the other. But there is a lot more upside to Lashley winning than there is to Lesnar. The Beast is pretty much invincible regardless of results, whereas the Almighty would benefit hugely from a big win over the former Universal Champion.

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Sami Zayn – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Roman Reigns (c) vs. Sami Zayn - Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber

After the epic conclusion to Royal Rumble, where Sami Zayn was brutally expelled from the Bloodline after standing up to Roman Reigns. He sought revenge by attacking Reigns on the Feb 3 edition of SmackDown. After chasing off the Tribal Chief with a spear Zayn passionately challenged Reigns to a title match, a challenge, which was angrily accepted after the Bloodline lay a hurting on their former stablemate.

The entire 10-month build to this match has been expertly delivered with each and every participant playing their parts to perfection. The mini-stories within the larger story involving Jimmy, Jey, Solo and Heyman will undoubtedly rise to a legendary crescendo in Montreal.

Prediction: WWE has done a brilliant job of making the fans believe in Zayn and that he may actually topple Reigns. Yet despite the overwhelming support of his hometown and a valiant performance, Zayn will fall at the feet of the Tribal Chief.

However, the loss will result in the next chapter of the story. Most likely involving Jey Uso and Kevin Owens featuring a bitter betrayal or an emotional reunion. Whatever goes down in Montreal will certainly be a memorable moment on the road to WrestleMania.

Elimination Chamber, streaming live at 8 ET/5 PT on Saturday, Feb. 18, on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network everywhere else.
