AEW Revolution Mark Briscoe and Lucha Brothers vs. Ari Daivari, Josh Woods, and Tony Nese

Mark Briscoe makes his AEW PPV debut in a six-man tag team match that will kick off the show in style.

Prediction: The Lucha Bros and Briscoe make a formidable trio and will pick up the victory in the first match of the night.

Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Starks

AEW Revolution Chris Jericho vs. Ricky Starks

After beating Chris Jericho in a match on the January 4th edition of Dynamite Ricky Starks incurred the wrath of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Determined to get his revenge Jericho signed a contract to a match at the PPV with the stipulation that his stablemates are not allowed at ringside.

Prediction: Starks comes into this match with a slight advantage per the stipulation. But undoubtedly, Jericho will have something up BIG his sleeve to get his win back. Chris Jericho wins.

Christian Cage vs. “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry – Final Burial match

AEW Revolution Christian Cage vs. "Jungle Boy" Jack Perry - No Holds Barred match

Jungle Boy finally gets his hands on Christian Cage in a match months in the making. Cage turned on Perry last June which led to a match to between the two All Out. However, due to an injury to Cage’s shoulder, the match only lasted 20 seconds.

Upon Cage’s return, the heated rivalry instantly ensued and the enemies will now fight in a Final Burial match.

Prediction: Cage is a dastardly heel who hasn’t met a line he won’t cross. The personal insults to Perry’s family have driven the youngster to wild violence, which will give him the edge to finally bury his former mentor. Jungle Boy wins.

The Elite (c) vs. The House of Black – World Trios Championship

AEW Revolution The Elite (c) vs. The House of Black - World Trios Championship

The House of Black attacked the Elite and stole the Trio titles setting up the match at the PPV.

Prediction: Despite the lack of a storyline this match will be a thrilling outing due to the teams involved. With uncertainty surrounding the AEW future of the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the House of Blsck become the third Trios Champions. House of Black win.

Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow – TNT Championship

AEW Revolution Samoa Joe (c) vs. Wardlow - TNT Championship

The former tag partners split when Joe attacked Wardlow. The two then met in a match, which saw Joe cut off Wardlow’s ponytail. Upon his return, he went straight after Joe for taking his title, pride and hair.

Prediction: Wardlow needs this win. Ever since splitting with MJF his career has fallen off the rails. A title win over Samoa Joe would be a good way of getting his heat back. Wardlow wins.

The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Orange Cassidy & Danhausen – Four-way tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship

AEW Revolution The Gunns (c) vs. The Acclaimed vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Orange Cassidy & Danhausen - Four-way tag team match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship

The Gunn’s first tag team title defence sees them take three teams at once. The Acclaimed get their chance to get the titles back while Jarrett, Lethal, Cassidy and Danhausen won a battle royal to get their respective opportunity.

Prediction: AEW once boasted the best tag team division in professional wrestling. Now, The Gunns are champions and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen are challengers. The Acclaimed need the title back to reignite the division.

Jon Moxley vs. Adam Hangman Page – Texas Death Match

AEW Revolution Jon Moxley vs. Adam Hangman Page - Texas Death Match

This match has been cooking for months. Ever since Jon Moxley sent Adam Page to the hospital back in October these two have been on a collision course. The two fighters look to finally settle their heated differences in a brutal fashion – A Texas Death Match!

It doesn’t take much for perpetual bleeder Jon Moxley to leak the red stuff and with the added stipulation, this match is going to turn the Golden State red.

Prediction: Moxley desperately needs some time away from AEW and Hangman really needs a big win to get his career back on track and this is the perfect time to do it. Hangman wins.

Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Saraya vs. Ruby Soho – Three Way match for the AEW Women’s World Championship

AEW Revolution Jamie Hayter (c) vs. Saraya vs. Ruby Soho - Three Way match for the AEW Women's Word Championship

Saraya’s spray paint-wielding heel turn saw her and Toni Storm target AEW Originals Britt Baker and Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter.

This led to Hayter announcing she will defend her title against Saraya and Ruby Soho, who she also deemed deserving of a title shot, in the three-way match at the event.

Prediction: Unfortunately, Saraya’s heel turn just hasn’t worked and Soho is so far down the pecking order it will be surprising to see anyone but the champion retain here. Jamie Hayer wins.

MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson – 60-Minute Ironman Match for the AEW World Championship

MJF (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - 60-Minute Ironman Match for the AEW World Championship

Ever since MJF won the title and put Bryan Danielson’s mentor William Regal in the hospital they were destined to fight. The Salt of the Earth did his best to halt the American Dragon’s ascent to title contention by placing tough opponents in front of him. But they proved no match for the tried and tested warrior.

Upon coming face-to-face the duo traded personal verbal insults and physical assaults on the way to the promotion’s first-ever 60-minute Ironman match.

Prediction: The stipulation allows both wrestlers to showcase their strengths. Obviously, the match is in Danielson’s favour wrestling wise therefore expect to see the champ use both his in-ring skills and hellish antics to pick up the win. MJF retains.

AEW Revolution is available to order on FITE.TV and for the first time DAZN.
