Mick Foley Reveals His Bizarre Dream Match

Mick Foley has been part of some of the wildest matches in WWE history.

From Buried Alive matches to Boiler Room Brawls and the infamous Hell in a Cell, the Hardcore Legend fought in every way imaginable during his 25-year career.

Now, with the advent of cinematic matches, Foley has one never-been-done dream match in mind.

Speaking on ‘Foley is Pod’, the Mickster revealed he would love to have all four of his old personas battle it out in the ring.

“A cinematic fatal four-way — Foley vs. Cactus vs. Dude Love vs. Mankind. We could make that happen, right?”

The closest we’ve come to all of these characters appearing at once was at the 1998 Royal Rumble when Foley entered as all three separately but was still unable to win the bout.

Mick Foley reveals which Face of Foley would have wrestled Bray Wyatt

During the same episode, Foley discussed which persona he would use if he had been able to face Bray Wyatt, saying it would have to be Mankind.

“If I was wrestling Bray Wyatt, it would have to be Mankind. It would have a feeling of a monster movie, and maybe we can take some creative liberties as far as the indestructible aspect goes.

“I think we would have pushed each other to do really great promos, and we would have paid it off in the ring.”

Foley has been a big influence on Wyatt’s career. The star paid homage to the legend by using a rocking chair during his promos, just as Foley had done during his feud with Randy Orton back in 2004.

The Hall of Famer says he was “blown away” the first time he saw Wyatt in NXT.

“When I finally got to see this guy [on WWE NXT], I was blown away.

“I felt awful for him when people chanted Husky Harris, which seems like a dirty thing to do to a hardworking guy who’s trying to do something fun and original.

“Thankfully, they got over that soon, but it was unfortunate that he was treated that way.”
