Major Update Future Of The ROH Tag Team Championships [SPOILERS]

The Briscoes Jay Briscoe Mark Briscoe make their entrance at ROH Supercard Of Honor 2022

The upcoming episode of AEW Rampage will feature a major update on the future of the ROH World Tag Team Titles.

Mark and Jay Briscoe won ROH tag team gold back at Final Battle in December 2022. The brothers defeated FTR in a blood-soaked Double-Dog Collar Match to round out their acclaimed trilogy of matches. The Briscoes had lost the titles to FTR back at Supercard of Honor that April, before failing to win them back in a “Two out of Three Falls” Match at Death Before Dishonor.

However, the future of the titles was thrown into doubt following the sad death of Jay Briscoe back in January. Since Jay Briscoe’s passing, his brother Mark has been signed by All Elite Wrestling and has competed as a singles wrestler.

Speaking on the latest episode of Rampage which will air on March 10th, Mark Briscoe came to the ring and announced that there will be a “Reach for the Sky” Ladder Match at ROH Supercard of Honor to crown new Tag Team Champions. It was also confirmed that the Lucha Bros will be taking part in the match.

Mark Briscoe was last in action on the AEW Revolution pre-show where he teamed with the Lucha Bros to defeat Ari Daivai and the Varsity Athletes.

Elsewhere on Rampage, there were wins for Sammy Guevara, The Acclaimed, Riho, and Konosuke Takeshita.
