AEW’s Plans For Blood & Guts Revealed

AEW Blood and Guts

The Blood & Guts match is one of AEW’s most brutal match stipulations with Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara on the receiving end of career threating attacks during the matches in 2022 and 2021 respectively.

With the match last being seen back in June 2022, fans had begun to speculate as to when we might next see the brutal structure, especially with The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club seemingly on a collision course for the stipulation.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, AEW has plans for Blood and Guts to return when Dynamite comes to Boston.

Although the report does not explicitly state when the match will return, AEW is currently slated to take over the Boston Celtic’s iconic TD Garden for the July 19th edition of AEW Dynamite which is leading many to assume the return of the iconic WCW structure is just weeks away.

No information was given regarding possible participants in the match, but as stated above it would make sense for The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club to conclude their epic feud inside the steel structure.

This wouldn’t be the first time the Blackpool Combat Club has gone to war inside the structure, in 2022 the faction teamed with LAX to take on The Jericho Appreciation Society with the then face BCC coming out on top.

With the event possibly just three weeks away one would expect that the match would will be announced during the fallout from tonight’s Forbidden Door clash between The Elite, Eddie Kingston and Tomohiro Ishii and the Blackpool Combat Club, Konsuke Takeshita and Shuto Umino.
