Eddie Kingston Signs New Multi-Year Deal With AEW

Eddie Kingston celebrates at AEW Grand Slam

Eddie Kingston will be staying with AEW.

Fresh off the back of winning the Ring of Honor World Championship, the Mad King has announced he’s signed a new four-deal with AEW. Speaking on AdFreeShows, Kingston said he made sure to play his cards close to his chest, but there’s nowhere else he wants to be.

“If you notice, you haven’t heard anything about me with a contract because I did my sh*t on the low. My thing was coming up, I got four more years. I’m straight. No one needs to know how much, no one needs to know how long. I got my f*cking sh*t. I got my sh*t and I’m going to be there for a minute because there is nowhere else I want to be,”

Recently Eddie Kingston shared what he thinks of Tony Khan.

Eddie Kingston To Stop Working Independent Dates

At Dynamite Grand Slam, Kingston defeated long-time rival Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH World Title. The victory marked the first time that Kingston had won World Championship gold.

In a post on social media after winning the title, Eddie Kingston said he’s planning to step back from taking independent bookings, at least for the time being. The win at Grand Slam meant that Kingston became a double-champion given he already holds the NJPW STRONG Openweight Title.

The star also revealed that he’s been struggling with a back injury he plans to get fixed.

It’s already been announced that Kingston will be back in action at WrestleDream on October 1st when he defends both of his titles against Katsuyori Shibata.
