The final AEW Collision before Forbidden Door featured a huge addition to the highly-anticipated cross-promotional event.
On the June 21st episode of Dynamite, Chris Jericho called out Sting, Darby Allin and a partner of their choosing for a six-man match at the PPV on June 25th.
The show opened with Tony Schivone in the ring to welcome Sting and Darby Allin to the ring but was interrupted by Jericho and one of his partners, Minoru Suzuki.
Le Champion took to the mic and declared he didn’t care who their partner was because there was no one they could pick who was tougher than Suzuki, sexier than Jericho and better than Sammy Guevera.
He then threatened Schiavone which brought out the face-painted duo. Allin grabbed the mic and told Jericho their partner was someone who he was very familiar with before introducing the leader of Los Ingoberbles De Japon, Tetsuya Naito.

Naito and Jericho have a history in the NJPW ring. The two met previously on two occasions in Japan in a feud over the IWGP Intercontinental Championship.
Their first meeting happened at 2018’s NJPW Dominion, which saw Jericho capture the title. They met again at Wrestle Kingdom 13 in 2019 at the Tokyo Dome in a match where Naito reclaimed the title.
They will now clash once again in the six-man tag team action at Forbidden Door.
