Britt Baker Slams Kane For Controversial Opinion

Kane is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2021

As the world reacts to the decision to overrule the historic Roe vs. Wade ruling, AEW’s Britt Baker has delivered a brilliant comeback against Kane’s controversial views.

The decision to overrule Roe vs. Wade was met with outrage. Originally established in January 1973, this guaranteed the constitutional right to abortion for every woman in the United States, with the Supreme Court ruling heralded as one of the most controversial in American history.

They’ve now overruled this landmark decision, as well as 1992’s Planned Parenthood vs. Casey ruling, nearly five decades after it was first decided. The reaction has been largely negative but if you ask WWE Hall of Famer Kane, who currently serves as the Mayor of Knoxville, Tennessee, the decision is a “victory”.

The real-life Glenn Jacobs took to Twitter with joy:

“Roe v. Wade has been overturned! This clears the way for states like TN to pass stronger protections for the unborn, and is an answer to a prayer for so many. #RightToLife #Victory”

Dr Britt Baker, D.M.D has quote-tweeted Kane’s remarks, slamming ‘The Big Red Machine’ in hilarious fashion:

“No wonder you couldn’t cut it as a dentist. #idiot”

Britt Baker is, of course, referring to the role Kane played prior to becoming ‘The Devil’s Favourite Demon’; Isaac Yankem, D.D.S. This was a demonic dentist who wrestled in the then-World Wrestling Federation as an associate of Jerry Lawler’s, with the gimmick surviving for just over a year.

Since chasing a career in politics, Kane has lost the support of many for his republican views. In July 2020, he was the sole Knox County Board member to vote against a mask mandate. More recently, Sean Waltman commented on Kane’s views on gun violence, following Kane stating that there were fewer mass shootings in North America than in other countries.

Kane has made very few wrestling-related appearances since becoming Mayor, most recently appearing on an April 2022 broadcast of Monday Night Raw. He hasn’t wrestled, however, since being a surprise entrant in the 2021 Royal Rumble match.
