Cora Jade Shares Cryptic Post Following Surprise Defeat

Cora Jade on NXT

Cora Jade’s NXT future appears to hang in the balance.

In recent weeks, Cora Jade has found herself at odds with Dana Brooke as the main roster star attempts to relaunch her career. Not that this has made Brooke especially popular with fans, causing her to hit out at the WWE universe after she was booed during a recent match.

On the July 25th episode of the show, the pair met in the ring in a Kendo Stick Match. While Brooke had Kelani Jordan by her side, the veteran also showcased a new, more determined, and gritty side to her character and she tried to beat Jade into submission.

In the end, it was Brooke who got the win, something that seems to have sent Jade into a tailspin. Writing on social media after the show, the young star simply wrote “Bye.”

On the August 1st episode of NXT, Cora Jade was shown in a video to be “leaving” NXT.

When Did Cora Jade Join WWE?

After making brief appearances in IMPACT Wrestling and AEW, Cora Jade signed with WWE in January 2021. Since then she has feuded with many of the brightest stars that NXT has to offer, winning the now-defunct Women’s Tag Team Titles before turning her back on Roxanne Perez.

Despite being just 2022, the star has been tipped as one of the most highly-rated stars in WWE and someone with a huge future. Speaking back in March, Bayley tipped the “super talented” Cora Jade for the top.
