Ex-WWE Star Admits He Doesn’t ‘Get’ The Young Bucks

A former WWE Superstar has shared his thoughts on AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and admits he didn’t ‘get’ the pair.

The Jackson brothers have undoubtedly revolutionised the wrestling business over the years as they grew into one of the most important tag teams ever. Building an audience through their Being The Elite YouTube Show, Matt and Nick Jackson gained massive amounts of success and popularity through their exploits in Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling as part of Bullet Club.

The Bucks used that success to help build the foundation of All Elite Wrestling along with Cody Rhodes after the trio put together the vaunted independent show, All In which was held in the autumn of 2018.

However, despite this, The Young Bucks aren’t for everyone with some critics taking issue with their high octane in-ring style.

Former WCW and WWE Superstar Buff Bagwell admitted on social media that he was one wrestling fan who didn’t ‘get’ The Bucks:

“Okay, this is where the internet turns on me. I get why the Young Bucks are loved, and they get themselves over. I don’t get the Young Bucks though.”

WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash chimed in to say that Bagwell might understand the pair’s appeal better if he had wrestled them:

“You would if you worked against them. Super talented and can make everyone look good”

Bagwell then admitted that after being sent some Young Bucks matches he can now see what the appeal of the team is.
