Big E Believes WWE Star Has “All The Tools” To Be World Champion

Big E & The WWE Championship

Although it took a lot longer than he would have liked, Big E finally became WWE Champion in September 2021.

His Money In The Bank cash-in on Monday Night Raw was one of the biggest feel-good moments of the year and cemented his status as one of the most popular stars on the roster.

During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Big E has now tipped a current tag team star to find success as a singles performer. While discussing the February 6th episode of Raw which saw Montez Ford qualify for the men’s Elimination Chamber Match, Big E heaped praise on the high-flying star.

“It’s hard not to be a Montez guy. You talk about someone who has all the tools, charismatic as hell, absurdly athletic. He has everything, so it’s about time for Montez to get his. I’m excited to see his rise and see his run. Talk about a star. Guy has screamed ‘star’ for a long time, so it’s time to get Montez cooking,”

Montez Ford defeated Elias to earn his shot at Austin Theory’s United States Champion. He will be joined in the match on February 18th by Seth Rollins, Johnny Gargano, Damian Priest, and Bronson Reed.

Is Big E Still Injured?

Big E has been out of action since the March 11th, 2022 episode of SmackDown after suffering a broken neck. During a match with Brawling Brutes, the star took a Belly-to-Belly Suplex from Ridge Holland outside the ring and landed high up on his neck instead of flat on his back.

Luckily the former World Champion avoided damaging his spinal cord and didn’t require surgery. Speaking in December the star offered an update on his condition and stated that he will be undergoing more scans in March 2023. These will then determine whether he will be able to return to the ring.
