“He’s A Wonderful Kid” – Ric Flair Breaks Down Why He Admires The Miz

WWE Ric Flair

Ric Flair is a huge fan of The Miz.

Despite his long list of achievements in WWE, The Miz is often overlooked by fans and critics, with colleagues often citing him as someone who deserves more praise.

Speaking in a new interview with This Past Weekend, Ric Flair added his name to that lengthy list. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer said Miz deserves more credit than he gets, especially with the awful treatment he was given when he first joined the company.

Flair went on to tip his hat to Miz for the way he’s willing to work with whatever he’s given by creative.

He’s a great kid, man,” Flair said. “He’s a guy that really cares for the business, man. And they s**t on him when he started … They gave him a tough time. That’s b******t. The guys that bully, I got no time for that. But he’s a wonderful kid, and he’s made the most of it. And I’m going to tell you the truth. Whatever they hand him, he makes work.

“It’s a gift,” Flair continued. “Whatever they hand him, he goes. He doesn’t complain. If he does, I’m not aware of it. And so damn respectful. He’s a great kid.”

When Did Ric Flair Last Wrestle?

The Nature Boy last stepped in the ring on July 31st, 2022, at a special event in Nashville, promoted under the Jim Crockett Promotions banner, Flair teamed with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal.

During the same interview, Ric Flair admitted he actually fell asleep during the match, and completely lost track of what was going on in the final portion of the match.
