Charlotte Flair & Liv Morgan To Portray June Byers & Clara Mortensen

Charlotte Flair is set to take on the role of June Byers, who wrestled between the years of 1944 and 1964 and won the vacant Women’s World Championship when Burke had a falling out with her husband and promoter Billy Wolfe.

Meanwhile, Liv Morgan will portray Clara Mortensen, a prominent star in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Mortensen starred in the 1951 film Racket Girls.

Neither WWE Superstar is a stranger to the world of acting, with Flair taking on the role of Heather Rockrear in Psych: The Movie. Morgan was a guest star on the most recent season of the USA Network series Chucky, meeting a grisly end at the hands of the demonic doll.

The upcoming film also stars Josh Lucas as Billy Wolfe and Marie Avgeropoulous as Babe Gordon. During a recent episode of his podcast, legendary announcer Jim Ross revealed that he’ll be working behind the scenes on the project.
