Asuka Comes To The Defence Of Nia Jax

Nia Jax & Asuka

Nia Jax is back in WWE, but not everyone is especially happy about it.

On September 11th, Nia Jax made a surprise return to Monday Night Raw, when she attacked Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley during their match for the Women’s World Title. The shock attack marked the first time Jax had appeared in a WWE ring since the 2023 Royal Rumble, and her first time on Raw since September 2021.

However, a number of fans wasted no time in criticising both WWE and Jax, making negative comments about her being dangerous in the ring. Despite not being universally popular with fans, Jax does have support in the form of Asuka.

In response to a post where fans were questioned whether it was the right move to bring Jax back, the former Women’s Champion said that just the idea was bullying and rude.

“That question is rude and bullying. You’re hurting her heart with this question. Are you really a person with a heart? If someone who has not been directly harmed by her denies her, I will fight the society for her. If I am criticized for it, I don’t care”

A fan quickly replied with a photo of a cut sustained by Kairi Sane during a match with Jax, but again Asuka defended the former Women’s Tag Team Champion.

“Wrestlers fight knowing that there is a possibility of injury. Kairi doesn’t blame anyone for her injuries. She is not stupid. But are you a victim?”

When Did Nia Jax Re-Sign With WWE?

Although the appearance on Raw might have been a surprise, it’s been reported that Nia Jax actually signed with WWE more than a month ago.

The star had been released by the company back in November 2021 but made a one-off comeback in the 2023 women’s Royal Rumble match.

In a new interview, Nia Jax discussed how she has sadly been the victim of online abuse.
