WWE Star Arianna Grace Set To Compete In 2023 Miss Canada

WWE Superstar Arianna Grace has placed in the top 20 of the Miss Universe Canada 2023 competition.

The 28-year old Toronto native is the daughter of former WWE Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella and previously showcased her beauty en-route to winning the 2013 Miss Ontario pageant.

In a post on social media platform ‘X’, Grace revealed her delight at her final positioning in the competition and noted that it was her current absence from the ring that led to a decision to participate in the first place:

“I am so proud to share I placed top 20 at Miss Universe Canada! Rehabbing my ACL injury was very difficult, so while I was forced to be out of the ring I decided to pursue this and tonight- I did the damn thing! So fulfilled, proud and ready to return to the ring a new woman!”

Arianna Grace Recovering From ACL Injury

Grace signed for WWE back in March 2022, initially reporting to the WWE Performance Center before making her on-screen debut during an episode of NXT Level Up on April 29th 2022. with a victory over Amari Miller.

Grace, real name Bianca Carelli, would compete in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament the following month, but lost out to Nikkita Lyons in the first round.

A first televised victory would follow in August 2022 with a win over Thea Hail, but the Superstar would soon be sidelined with a serious injury, revealing in a social media post that she had undergone surgery .

The Miss Universe Canada pageant was held on Saturday at The Show Theatre at Hard Rock Casino in Vancouver BC and was eventually won by Madison Kvaltin.

Despite not coming out on top, Grace did recently share her delight that her road back to the ring had taken positive steps, confirming a return to in-ring training in an up-beat social media post.
