Jade Cargill Sets Sights On The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Jade Cargill is setting her sights on a new goal beyond the squared circle.

Having made a name for herself by teaming up with NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal in her debut match, Jade Cargill has quickly risen through the ranks. She became the inaugural AEW TBS Champion and boasted an impressive undefeated streak of 60-0 before her defeat at the hands of Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing.

In a recent interview on Women’s Wrestling Talk, Cargill revealed her aspirations beyond wrestling. Acting is her next venture, and she expressed a strong desire to work with Marvel Studios.

Well, after I become a great, I want to segue into acting. I really want to be in Marvel.

Currently, Cargill is dipping her toes into the acting world, as seen in her appearance in French Montana’s music video. She emphasised her passion for the character Storm from the X-Men franchise, stating that her entire career and persona in AEW are inspired by Storm.

I want to be Storm so damn bad, my entire career and aesthetic for AEW is literally Storm, literally.

Cargill believes her portrayal of a strong, black woman who takes no nonsense aligns perfectly with Storm’s character.

I’m a strong black woman and I take no crap from anyone. I know myself and I control the weather, when I’m in the ring, I control the audience. I get them to stand up, I get them to cheer, I get them to boo me. You can find nobody better.

Cargill has even cosplayed as Storm during the finals of the AEW TBS Title tournament, where she emerged victorious over Ruby Soho.

Has Jade Cargill Returned To AEW?

In a recent AEW Collision episode, Jade Cargill made a dramatic return to save Kris Statlander from an attack by The Renegade Twins. However, despite her rescue efforts, Cargill ended up betraying Statlander and hitting her with her signature move, Jaded.
