Eric Bischoff Predicts Imminent NXT Call-Up

Eric Bischoff believes that more WWE fans will know about Bron Breakker before the year comes to a close.

During the 2-hour broadcast, the former NXT Champion found himself in the spotlight throughout the show, standing toe to toe with John Cena, receiving an introduction from Paul Heyman and sharing an unforgettable moment with The Undertaker to close out the show. Bischoff believes that amidst all the developmental talent showcased on that night, Breakker’s performance shone the brightest.

Speaking on Strictly Business, Bischoff stated that all of the talent’s stock was raised significantly on the show and Breakker will not have many more matches left on Tuesday nights:

I believe that every one of the talents that we saw in that ring benefited from the rub. You know, that’s a term that people have been hearing now for decades, right? You’re in the ring with The Undertaker. You’ve got a segment backstage with Paul Heyman. You’re in a bit of an angle with John Cena with physicality.

Every one of those stars benefited, those young talents, they’re not stars yet. This is still the C show. This is still the developmental roster folks. And every one of them benefited from their interactions with that top talent that came in from WWE as cameo appearances every one of them some more than others. Bron Breakker did. Really did. If he’s in NXT a month from now I’m gonna be shocked.

Eric Bischoff Successfully Predicts Tuesday Night Ratings Battle

Being no stranger to wrestling head-to-heads and counter-programming, the Hall of Famer has a more knowledgeable perspective on the simultaneous broadcasts that took place between NXT and AEW Dynamite. With NXT convincingly winning the night, Eric Bischoff’s estimation that it would be a bloodbath came true.
