Kurt Angle Backs Finn Balor To Leave WWE If They “Don’t Do Something With Him”

Kurt Angle believes it might soon be time for Finn Balor to leave WWE.

At SummerSlam, Finn Balor failed in his latest bid to become World Champion, losing out to Seth Rollins despite involvement from the Judgment Day. This means that Balor has only been World Champion once since joining WWE, holding the Universal Title for just 24 hours back in 2016 after suffering an injury.

While the star has won the NXT Title twice, a significant spell with WWE’s top prize has eluded him.

Reflecting on Balor’s recent loss at SummerSlam on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, Angle said it might soon be time for the Irish star to leave WWE. The WWE Hall of Famer said that while he doesn’t want to see it happen, he wouldn’t blame Balor if he is considering his future.

“Well, you know what, it would have been nice if they would have given him this World Title. I think he’s really over, incredibly athletic. He has a lot of charisma. This kid, you know, if WWE doesn’t end up doing something with him, that’s dramatic, I wouldn’t blame him if he went off and went somewhere else,” Angle said. “I don’t want to see him do that because I love the WWE, and I think he’s a good fit for them, but they need to start putting this kid over. He deserves it.”

Kurt Angle Claims Paul Heyman Is “Full Of Sh*t”

During the episode, the WWE legend also gave his thoughts on the storyline around Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Kurt Angle said that while he’s enjoying the story, Paul Heyman is “full of sh*t” for suggesting it’s only in the third inning.
