Bruce Prichard Claims Vince McMahon Could Run WWE For The Next “25 To 30 Years”

Bruce Prichard has said he believes that Vince McMahon could be running WWE for another 30 years as he continues to show no signs of slowing down.

Despite being 76-years-old WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has re-established himself as a regular presence on television since Survivor Series in November. Following the cross-promotional story with The Rock’s hit movie Red Notice, McMahon has remained on Monday Night Raw, acting as a mentor to young star Austin Theory.

In almost weekly segments, McMahon passes down words of wisdom along with some rather tough love as he attempts to motivate his protégé.

Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Something to Wrestle, available via AdFreeShows, long-time McMahon associate Bruce Prichard, said he sees no reason that the Chairman will be slowing down any time soon. On the episode which looked back at the 2005 Royal Rumble, Prichard was asked whether he thought back then that McMahon would still be in charge today.

“Yes [I always felt like Vince McMahon would continue running WWE past the early 2000s]. Absolutely,” Prichard responded. “Yeah, I can’t imagine him not doing it and I am sure that he will continue to do it probably for the next 25-to-30 years.”

The former ‘Brother Love’ went on to describe his boss as a “freak of nature,” noting that McMahon’s mother is still alive and well aged 101.

“His mom’s 101 and still going so, you know, he shows no signs of slowing down at all and he’s a freak of nature and it’s hard to imagine it without him and I don’t think that we’ll have to imagine it without him for a long, long time.”

As part of his on-going story with Theory, McMahon recently entered him in the upcoming Royal Rumble match. Off the back of this news, it was reported that Theory is set for a strong showing in the star-making match, maybe even being one of the last four or five men left in the ring.
