Alexa Bliss Sends Touching Message To WWE Superstar Paige

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss has sent a touching response to Paige on social media after the WWE Superstar commented on how great it was to see that people still miss her wrestling.

Paige was forced to retire from in-ring competition in April 2018 due to a neck injury stemming from a house show match in November 2017 where she and her Absolution teammates Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville took on Mickie James, Bayley and Sasha Banks.

During the bout, an errant kick from Banks floored Bevis, inadvertently causing an impact injury on her surgically repaired neck. She was unable to get cleared following the incident and has not competed in the ring since.

With the Royal Rumble coming up, many fans are hoping that Paige, who has hinted at a possible ring return in recent months, will come out of retirement as a surprise entrant in the annual spectacular.

The level of speculation led to Paige trending on Twitter on January 8th, something the multi-time WWE Divas Champion acknowledged with her own posts, saying it feels “awesome” to see so many want her make an in-ring comeback.

“Wait I was trending again? I mean, it is January.”

“I tell ya what though, it does feel f*cking awesome to see so many people even after 4 years, miss me wrestling.”

Alexa Bliss, real name Lexi Kaufman, gave a heartwarming response, telling Paige that she misses her.

“I miss u”

Bliss has been absent from WWE TV since September, when she lost to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules. It was later revealed by PWInsider that she was written off TV as she was due to undergo surgery on her sinuses.

However, on the January 3rd episode of Raw, it was announced that ‘Little Miss Bliss’ will “begin her journey back to Raw” on January 10th.
