Former Universal Champion Bray Wyatt has landed his first new project since leaving WWE back in July.

Ever since Bray Wyatt left WWE at the end of July, fans have awaited the enigmatic star’s next move. While many had expected the former World Champion to find his way to AEW or IMPACT, it appears that Hollywood might in fact be his next destination.

As noted by Callosum Studios owner and special makeup effects artist Jason Baker in an interview with the Metro, the pair are set to begin work on a new feature film at the end of November. Baker, who has worked with numerous WWE Superstars, including Wyatt, has since become good friends with the ‘Eater of Worlds.’

“He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend, and we’re actually – you’re the first person that we’re publicly telling about. We’re starting a film at the end of the month.

Two weeks to go, we’re filming in Tennessee,’ he said. ‘It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different. I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu.”

Baker further explained that the project won’t feature any of Wyatt’s persona’s from his time in WWE, instead they’re going in a different direction.

“We’re not using any of that – we’re going in a completely different direction, a whole new thing,’ he teased. ‘It should be fun. Hopefully fans of horror and fans of Windham [Bray Wyatt] like it!”

Bray Wyatt was released by WWE on July 31st 2021 ending more than a decade with the company. It was noted at the time that the release was due to budget cuts. However, it has since been reported that Vince McMahon simply disliking the star who had been vocal about bad creative could have also played a part.
