Kevin Nash Offered To Work WWE SummerSlam

Kevin Nash has revealed that he tabled an offer to WWE to be a part of SummerSlam.

In a recent episode of his podcast Kliq This, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash revealed that he had made an offer to be involved with SummerSlam, but unfortunately, his request went unanswered by the company.

Despite not getting a response, Nash attended the event anyway. Nash, who remains involved in the wrestling world through his podcast, expressed his desire to be the master of ceremonies for the premium live event.

I asked if I could be involved. I asked if I could be the master of ceremonies of SummerSlam. I asked. Deaf ears, baby.

During the podcast, Nash shared his vision for his involvement in SummerSlam. He wanted to open the show and extend a warm welcome to the fans in Detroit. Additionally, Nash had hoped to interact with fans outside the arena, capturing the excitement and energy of the event. He wanted to showcase his charm and engage with the passionate wrestling community.

Just being charming. Opening. I was hoping just something on the ramp. ‘Welcome to Detroit.’ I would have been great with a camera crew outside of Ford Field talking with the Detroit fans and the fans from around the world that came in.

When co-host Sean Oliver mentioned that Nash may not have given WWE enough time to respond, Nash clarified that he had given them a couple of months to consider his offer. Despite not receiving a reply, he attended SummerSlam and showed his support for the event.

Has Kevin Nash Had Any Involvement With WWE Recently?

While Nash hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since his second Hall of Fame induction with the NWO in 2020, he has had plenty to say on his podcast about the company. Recently Kevin Nash had some harsh words to say about LA Knight, which he then apologised for, recognising that LA Knight’s popularity is good for the WWE, which he is a shareholder of.

Whether Nash will be involved with WWE again, it is unlikely to be in a wrestling capacity, as he has mentioned recently that he may require neck surgery.
