Seth Rollins with the World Heavyweight Title

Seth Rollins is not short on challengers.

The World Heavyweight Champion retained the title on the June 5th episode of Raw, retaining the championship against Damian Priest. The match was initially set up following an open challenge set up by The Visionary on social media, which was answered by The Judgment Day member.

Seth Rollins Receives Challenge From Unlikely WWE Opponent

With the majority of Raw’s top stars currently looking to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match, the next challenger for the World Heavyweight Championship remains a mystery. One NXT Superstar who is looking for an opportunity to face the champion is Bron Breakker.

Following an attack on Ilja Dragunov, NXT cameras caught up with Breakker in the parking area. The former NXT Champion stated that Dragunov was attacked becasue he stated he was the most intense guy in WWE, which Breakker took offence to. Breakker then went on to say that he would hold everyone accountable, including the top champion of Monday Night Raw.

The video ended with Breakker inviting Rollins to come to NXT and put the title on the line.

Rollins is no stranger to the NXT brand, as the former Shield member became the inaugural NXT Champion following the relaunch of the WWE developmental brand.

Bron Breakker has been looking to get to the top of the mountain ever since the Stand & Deliver Premium Live Event on April 1st 2023. Breakker would lose the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes in the main event of the show, ending the title reign at 362 days.

Rollins became the new World Heavyweight Champion at the Night of Champions PLE, defeating AJ Styles in the finals of the tournament to crown the new champion. The accolade now makes Rollins a 6 time World Champion in WWE, winning the top titles on both the main roster and in NXT.
