Lash LeRoux On Hulk Hogan Giving Him “One Of The Largest Compliments” Ever

Hollywood Hulk Hogan

Former WCW star Lash LeRoux has heaped praise on Hulk Hogan and noted that the wrestling icon. paid him “one of the largest compliments” ever.

Lash LeRoux was part of World Championship Wrestling from 1997 when he began training in the company’s Power Plant until the promotion closed its doors in the spring of 2001.

While part of WCW, LeRoux shared a locker room with some of wrestling’s biggest names with perhaps none bigger than ‘The Immortal’ Hulk Hogan.

Speaking on UnSKripted, Lash LeRoux talked about his dealings with Hogan, who he had been a fan of when he was younger:

“It was tremendous for me, man. I always thought that he was tremendous. He was a superstar that deserved to be treated like a superstar. Of course, I grew up being a big Hulk Hogan fan. So it was awesome for me to meet him. Someone that I idolized when I was younger. Even more so, he was always down to earth to me. He was really cool to me, very good to me.”

LeRoux then recalled Hulk Hogan mentioning him by name in a magazine interview and how as far as compliments go, they didn’t get bigger for the man once known as Corporal Cajun:

“In fact, he was interviewed one time in a magazine and I probably took this more seriously than I should have, but he mentioned some of the up and coming guys. And he mentioned by name Billy Kidman and Lash LeRoux. And man, that was one of the largest compliments I could have gotten in my life. I thought I was on his radar. And I went up to him the next time I saw him at a show and thanked him for going out of his way to mention me.”
