Kurt Angle is a big fan of Australian star Grayson Waller.
Throughout his Hall of Fame career, Kurt Angle proved he’s one of the best to ever step inside the squared circle, mastering the microphone as well as his in-ring skills. On the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic gold medalist looked ahead to the future, giving high praise to SmackDown star Grayson Waller.
“He’s the Australian kid. Yeah, I did see his match with Edge at Madison Square Garden, and it was a pretty damn good match. I think the kid’s talented. I think he has it. He’s pretty good on the mic, too.” (h/t WrestlingNews.co)
Kurt Angle Will Undergo Surgery In 2024
Elsewhere in the podcast, Angle once again opened up about being in incredible pain as a result of his wrestling career, and he revealed that he’ll finally be undergoing neck fusion surgery in early 2024.
“Just so you know, I’m having neck surgery [at the] beginning of next year. They’re going to put in artificial disc replacements and it’s going to help [his hands]. I can’t really grab things and things always slip out of my hands and fall.
“I have horrible motor skills. My arms, they actually atrophied three inches each, and I don’t have any muscle [between his thumb and finger], this is completely flat. They’re supposed to be muscle in there but it deteriorated. Atrophied. So when I get these rubber discs or disc replacements, they’re going to open up the nerves so they can go down my arm so I can have better circulation.” (h/t Fightful)
