An ex-WWE Superstar has revealed that a former colleague was once kicked out of the locker room for stealing a Rolex watch.

Rene Dupree has claimed that Hardcore Holly was once thrown out of the WWE locker room after he stole a Rolex watch belonging to a fellow Superstar.

Holly made his first appearance in WWE all of the way back in 1991, becoming a full-time member of the roster in 1994 via a spell with Smoky Mountain Wrestling.

Over the next 15 years Holly established himself as a favourite with WWE management and was a consistent presence on television, although he never moved beyond the middle of the card.

Speaking on his Cafe De Rene podcast, Rene Dupree revealed that it was Lance Cade who initially informed him of the incident, before Umaga told the star he was no longer welcome in the locker room.

“Oh, the Rolex. Yeah, all I know – because I wasn’t there, I was gone by this point. What I had heard was that a Rolex had got stolen and somebody’s visa or passport had gotten stolen,”

“We’re talking about Thurman Sparky [Bob Holly], where… that’s why he got sh*tcanned, right, because he was, during WrestleMania time and someone’s Rolex watch went missing, this was in 2010. It was actually Lance Cade who told me this before he passed away. Yeah and then Umaga, he took the guy’s bag, Sparky, and then wrapped it up with a letter saying, ‘We don’t want you here’ or ‘Get the fu*k out of here,'”

During his WWE career Holly was known to be particularly tough on up and coming Superstars, and famously got into a huge fight with Dupree after a match.
