It was Monday Night Raw featuring Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso, Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Ricochet and more.

This week’s Raw took place at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah with Michael Cole and Wade Barrett on commentary.

Cody Rhodes started with a promo saying he wanted to talk about Jey Uso, but before he could get going, he was interrupted by his opponent on the show, Dominik Mysterio. Dominik said no Rhea Ripley on Raw because of Nia Jax’s attack last week. Cody claimed that Dominik liked Ripley way more than she liked him and maybe Ripley likes Jey Uso too. Dominik said it’s not like that because The Judgment Day is a family. That brought out WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor & Damian Priest to be at ringside for Dominik’s match.

Match #1:Cody Rhodes defeated Dominik Mysterio. – Cody won clean in about three minutes with Cross Rhodes.

After the match, The Judgment Day teased attacking Cody, but Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn ran in to stand beside Cody. The Judgment Day left.

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn & Cody Rhodes were in the ring for a promo with KO asking Cody why he helped bring Jey Uso to Raw. Cody said that the fans love Jey and he thinks Jey deserves a second chance. Zayn supported Cody by saying that KO & Sami giving eachother second chances led to KO & Sami becoming WWE Tag Team Champions. Owens said if you want him to trust Jey Uso, he can’t do that, but Owens trusts both of them so he hopes they are right.

Following Nia Jax’s attack on Rhea Ripley & Raquel Rodriguez last week, there was a storyline injury update. Ripley has bruised ribs while Raquel has whiplash.

Match #2: Kofi Kingston defeated Ivar of the Viking Raiders. – Ivar nearly had it won with a moonsault, but Kofi kicked out. Kofi won after a sunset flip Powerbomb and Trouble in Paradise kick. This was advertised as a 2/3 Falls Match between New Day and Viking Raiders, but Erik of Viking Raiders was not medically cleared to compete.

Prior to Shinsuke Nakamura’s match, Seth “Freakin” Rollins tried to go after him, but WWE Officials and security stopped Rollins.

Match #3: Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Ricochet by disqualification. – Nakamura wanted to use a chair, Ricochet got a hold of it and hit Nakamura with the chair for the disqualification.

Post match, Nakamura targeted and injured Ricochet’s ankle. Nakamura hit Ricochet with a chair repeatedly. Seth Rollins went after Nakamura, but Nakamura gave him a back body drop onto the chair so Rollins was selling the back injury.

Match #4: Chelsea Green & Piper Niven vs. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark ended when Nia Jax attacked both teams. Jax attacked Niven first, so it could be called a disqualification. Jax hit Baszler with a Banzai Drop that’s being called an Annihilator.

Chad Gable and “Big” Bronson Reed exchanged words in the office of WWE Official Adam Pearce to set up a match.

Jey Uso was being interviewed when Damian Priest showed up to say The Judgment Day wanted Jey to join their group. Priest wanted an answer by the end of Raw.

Match #5: Bronson Reed defeated Chad Gable. – Reed won with the Tsunami splash off the top rope.

Jey Uso spoke with Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn backstage. Owens still didn’t trust Jey while Zayn told Jey to give KO some time.

Becky Lynch, the NXT Women’s Champion, said she wants to elevate the title. Lynch said she’ll be at NXT on Tuesday. Lynch did an open challenge that was answered by Natalya. They exchanged words with Lynch saying she wanted to face somebody new, but Natalya said Lynch jumped over everyone to get a title shot. Lynch agreed to a title match.

Match #6: Becky Lynch defeated Natalya to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. – They exchanged pin attempts and Lynch did a rollup for the pinfall win.

Match #7: Tommaso Ciampa defeated Giovanni Vinci by submission with the Sicilian Stretch that looks like the Gargano Escape. A short match that went about three minutes.

Seth Rollins did a backstage promo telling Shinsuke Nakamura to name the time, the place and the stipulation if you want.

Match #8:Drew McIntyre defeated Jey Uso. – The Judgment Day nearly helped Jey win, but Drew kicked out of a superkick. Jey hit superkicks on Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio. When Jey turned around, Drew capitalized with a Claymore Kick for the pinfall win.

After the match, Drew McIntyre left the ring and The Judgment Day beat up Jey. Drew walked to the back while refusing to help Jey. Cody Rhodes ran out for the save, he cleaned house and was in the ring with Jey. Cody shook hands with Jey. The show ended there.
