Kane Officially Announced For 2021 WWE Hall Of Fame

Kane Hall Of Fame

‘The Big Red Machine’ Kane has been announced as the latest inductee for the Class of 2021 in the WWE Hall Of Fame.

The news was announced on WWE’s The Bump when Kane was featured as a guest. Host Kayla Braxton surprised Kane with an appearance from his fellow Brother of Destruction The Undertaker.

After a trip down memory lane, The Undertaker then announced that Kane had the honour of being the latest inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

An emotional Kane addressed the Deadman:

“If it hadn’t been for people like you, nothing. You’ve been a huge part of my career and my life so thank you.”

Kane is the fourth announced inductee for the 2021 class of the WWE Hall Of Fame. Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff were announced as the first inductees previously. The Great Khali has also been announced as entering the Hall Of Fame by WWE India.

A former WWE and World Heavyweight Champion, he is best known for his on/off rivalry and partnership with The Undertaker. Kane famously made his debut at the Badd Blood pay-per-view in October 1997. ‘The Demon’ was accompanied by Paul Bearer as he interfered in the first-ever Hell In A Cell match, costing his brother The Undertaker the match. This led to the first match between the two stars at WrestleMania 14.

In recent years, the real-life Glenn Jacobs has served as the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee. Jacobs recently announced the start of his campaign for re-election to the role.

Following up on the news, Jacobs has sent out a tweet reading:

“Wow! This is the greatest honor that any @WWEsuperstar could hope for. Perfect that @undertakerdelivered the news. THANK YOU!!”

The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony will air on Tuesday, April 6th on Peacock and the WWE Network. The Class of 2021 will be inducted alongside the postponed Class of 2020.

Everybody at Inside The Ropes congratulates Kane for his richly-deserved induction into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
