As WrestleMania weekend fast approaches, WWE has begun to make announcements regarding its annual WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The 2023 Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place on March 31st in Los Angeles, CA, immediately following the taping of SmackDown. WWE announced its first inductee into the class of 2023 on March 10th, revealing that Rey Mysterio would be receiving the honor despite still being an active competitor on the roster. He was confronted by his son Dominik following the announcement as the two have been at odds since Dominik joined The Judgment Day.
It has also been reported that The Great Muta is set to be inducted into the class of 2023, as is Hollywood icon and former WWE Champion Dave Bautista.
Stacy Keibler’s WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Is Nearly A Done Deal
Now, a new report from PWInsider Elite reveals that WWE has been in contact with Stacy Keibler in recent weeks regarding a WWE Hall of Fame induction, and that the two are very close to reaching a deal. In fact, according to one source, the deal is said to be “99% done” while other sources say her induction is “likely.” As of today, no official deal had been reached between the two parties.
Keibler entered the world of professional wrestling after becoming a fan alongside her boyfriend at the time. After winning a contest in 1999, she was hired by World Championship Wrestling as one of their Nitro Girls, and went on to perform as heel valet Miss Hancock.
After WCW closed its doors in 2001, Stacy was hired by WWE and went on to form alliances with The Dudley Boys, Test, Scott Steiner, and later The Hurricane and Rosey. She also had feuds with the likes of Torrie Wilson, Sable, and Candice Michelle.
Keibler left WWE in 2006 in order to pursue other ventures, and has had a variety of television guest appearances on such shows as Psych and Chuck in addition to a recurring role on the sitcom What About Brian. She last appeared on WWE television in 2019 as part of WrestleMania weekend when she inducted Torrie Wilson into the WWE Hall of Fame.
