It has been a while since Dave Batista has graced the screens of WWE television.
The now highly sought-after Hollywood actor has been extremely busy in the last few years, appearing in critically acclaimed films such as Dune, Knock at the Cabin and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
Although he is no longer with World Wrestling Entertainment, he remains in contact with people from the company. This weekend, he spent time training with a former WWE Tag Team Champion.
Batista Shares Photo Training With Current WWE Star
A recent Instagram post by Thaddeus Bullard (better known as Titus O’Neil) has shown him training with Batista at a gym in Tampa, Florida.
The caption for the post was the following;
“So great training tonight with @davebautista @matheusandre1 and @joshraff_ tonight. Workout # 3 on the day was FUN 😎.”
Batista has not been seen on WWE television since WrestleMania 35 in 2019. At the event, he faced former Evolution stablemate Triple H in a No Holds Barred match, which Batista lost. As the bout stipulated that the loser had to retire, Batista has not wrestled since.
He was scheduled to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed until the following year. Unfortunately, Batista could not attend the ceremony in 2021 due to other obligations, so his induction was held off for a future Hall of Fame class.
Similarly, Titus O’Neil has not wrestled since 2020, when he lost to Bobby Lashley in a one-minute match on Monday Night Raw. Currently, he serves as WWE’s Global Ambassador, helping thousands of individuals through various non-profit organizations and WWE partners.
Dave Batista’s next movie release will see him reprise his role of Glossu Rabban in Dune: Part Two, which is set to release in cinemas on November 3rd, 2023.
