Bruce Prichard Claims Maven And Mark Jindrak Were “Too Nice” For WWE

Bruce Prichard

Bruce Prichard thinks that Maven and Mark Jindrak didn’t have enought “a-hole” in themselves for particular spots in WWE.

Speaking on the latest episode of “Something To Wrestle With,” Bruce gave intel on two wrestlers who may have been too nice for their own good to survive the shark-infested waters of WWE. One name was Mark Jindrak, who was originally slated to be one of the members of Evolution, but that spot went to Batista.

“I don’t know if Mark had the killer instinct in him and Dave did. It was also a matter of how those guys worked together — Dave had worked with Ric [Flair] before, so there was already a bond there. I think Mark was the odd man out that didn’t really seem to fit.”

“…Mark was probably too nice for the spot. And you’ve gotta have some a–hole in you.”

But, Bruce Prichard, What About Maven?

Bruce Prichard said that Maven also fits that same bill as being too nice, making not that it probably hampred some of his progression in the company.

“I don’t think Maven had enough a–hole in him, either. He was way too nice of a guy. I think he viewed the business as a work — it’s not … you have to fight for your position. I think that was his downfall.”

Downfall be damned, Maven has recently rose like a phoenix in the pro wrestling world as the first Tough Enough winner has done incredible numbers on his YouTube channel. All that being said, Maven did say he turned down several offers to return to WWE.
