Mustafa Ali Requests WWE Release

Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali has announced on social media that he is requesting his release from WWE.

Taking to social media, WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali stated that he is requesting his release from WWE, while sharing a longer message in video form, with text reading:

I have a message that is much bigger than my dreams in pro wrestling.

Despite my best efforts, I will not be able to deliver this message while working with WWE.

Therefore, I am requesting my release from WWE.

Mustafa Ali has been absent from WWE television following a very stop-start few years for the SmackDown Superstar which has saw nixed factions, characters and storylines aplenty, with a report revealing why Ali had been absent.

The report came after Ali did not appear at SmackDown in his hometown of Chicago – and suggested that he simply wasn’t in attendance and there was nothing planned for him.

The report adds that Ali asked for a couple of weeks off for paternity leave, but that the amount of time requested had already passed.

An additional note states that Ali was sent home early for the requested paternity leave, and he’s not been on the road since before Survivor Series.

We will bring you more on Mustafa Ali’s requested WWE release as and when we get it.
