Seth Rollins Will Make History At WWE Crown Jewel

Seth Rollins is set to be the first Superstar to defend 4 different championships in Saudi Arabia.

Having held every major title within the company, The Visionary has frequently made the journey to the Kingdom in possession of a championship, only losing a title overseas on one occasion. When Seth Rollins defends the World Heavyweight Championship at Crown Jewel, this will mark the 4th unique title defence in Saudi Arabia, more than anyone else within the company.

Beginning at the inaugural Saudi Arabia event in 2018, The Greatest Royal Rumble, Rollins successfully defended the Intercontinental Championship against Finn Balor, The Miz and Samoa Joe in a 4-Way ladder match, regarded as one of the best matches on the night. Following The Visionary’s triumph over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, Rollins would triumphantly return to Saudi Arabia as Universal Champion at Super ShowDown 2019, successfully defending the title against Baron Corbin.

Evolving into his Monday Night Messiah persona, Rollins and his disciple Murphy would return to the Kingdom one year later as Raw Tag Team Champions, retaining the titles against The Street Profits. Hoping to be successful once again, Rollins puts the World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Drew McIntyre at the upcoming event after becoming the inaugural champion at Night of Champions earlier in the year.

Seth Rollins’ Rare Championship Loss

Although Rollins has been successful in multiple title defences, the record is not perfect. Following a Hell in a Cell match against The Fiend with one of the worst cell match finishes ever, a rematch between The Fiend and Rollins was set for Crown Jewel 2019, where it was stipulated that the match could not be stopped for any reason. Despite Rollins’ best efforts, The Fiend would be victorious and won his first Universal Championship.
