“Her Upside Is Almost Immeasurable” – Mick Foley Predicts Big Things For Jade Cargill

WWE is failing in the “worst way possible” if they can’t make Jade Cargill a major star according to Mick Foley.

Jade Cargill is yet to step into a WWE ring, but she’s already made a huge splash within the company. There have been multiple videos hyping her signing, many of WWE’s biggest names have commented on her switch from AEW, and news of her multi-year contract was announced by ESPN.

In short, WWE is doing everything it can to make Cargill the biggest star possible.

During the latest episode of his podcast, Foley Is Pod, Mick Foley gave his thoughts on the media blitz.

“Oh man, you talk about the ‘it factor.’ She just really jumps off the page. Giving her the day to do media is the way you break a star. It just remains to be seen whether they you know want to introduce her with a bang,”

Foley went on to predict big things for Cargill in WWE, claiming the company would be “failing in the worst way possible” if they didn’t make her a success.

“Wow, that was really impressive. It really was, to see the rollout. If WWE can’t make her a major star, then they are failing in the worst way possible. So I think they will, and I think she will rise to the occasion. She’s somebody whose upside is almost immeasurable. She’s just going to continue to be better, but she’s got that look, and not just the look, but the presence as well. I see big things for her in WWE.”

While some fans and industry insiders believe Cargill should make her debut in NXT, the WWE Hall of Famer says the company should go as big as possible right from the off.

“I am all in favor of making the big splash right away. I understand the value of NXT, but I think when you have somebody like that you want to make that big splash right away, like they did with AJ Styles, like they did with Cody, and that would be a perfect way to do it.”

Tony Khan Made Multiple Offers To Keep Jade Cargill In AEW

The comments from Tony Khan that Meltzer is referencing came at the post-WrestleDream media scrum. During the press conference, the AEW boss was asked about Jade Cargill leaving and revealed he made two separate bids to keep her.

However, when it became clear they remained some way apart in negotiations, Khan said his focus shifted to giving her the best send-off possible.
