Vince McMahon And Wife Linda No Longer Together

Vince and Linda McMahon - WWE

A new report has suggested that Vince McMahon and his wife Linda McMahon are no longer together despite “technically” still being married.

After news began to circulate that Vince McMahon was under investigation over allegations that he paid $3 million to a former employee with whom he had previously had an affair, fans have been speculating about the future of WWE and the McMahon family.

The allegations centre on McMahon’s hiring of an unnamed woman as a paralegal in 2019. Anonymous emails suggest that McMahon gave the woman a pay increase from $100,000 to $200,000 after beginning a physical relationship with her.

It is alleged that Vince McMahon’s long-time attorney Jerry McDevitt, paid the woman “millions of dollars to shut up.” The investigation also involves claims of misconduct involving Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis.

With regard to the impact on the McMahon family, speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Stephanie McMahon was aware of the investigation before taking a leave of absence. However, it is unclear as to whether the two things are connected.

While it has been publicly acknowledged that Vince McMahon has engaged in sexual extra-marital affairs previously, the issue has now once again come to the fore. Commenting on the relationship between Vince and his wife of more than 50 years Linda, Meltzer noted that while they are still married they are no longer together.

“Technically they’re married. I mean, they haven’t been together in a long, long time though.”

Despite the severity of the accusations levelled against him, it is said that McMahon along with John Laurinaitis will be attending the June 17th taping for Friday Night SmackDown as normal, with the situation being viewed as “business as usual.”
